Top 25 Male Performers

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a traditional country music fanatic. I know the artists, there respective labels, there histories and just overall who they are.
CLICK THE LINKS TO THE LEFT TO SEE A QUICK BIO OF EACH PERFORMERS CAREER.
Country music has gone through many changes over the years. I find the early 70s through the late 90s as country music's best times.
Even through those two decades one can look back and see that the industry has went through many "self corrections". These corrections happen to get country back to country. With one hit Simi pop country starts coming and going almost on a yearly basis, I have a heard time even getting interested in any new performers.
I will say that there are some that have allot of potential for the long run. Take for instance Kenny Chesney, with his beach front half  bubble gum pop renditions. Kenny is a dork at best, but Kenny has certainly got potential and I expect to see him around for a long time and really expect to see some GOOD music come from him.
There are others, but like I said....... its the greats like Haggard and Jones who did it the same way Hank Sr. did. That Hank Jr. song "I Don't Think Hank did it this a Way"........ applies to 90% of the 1990 and up performers.
I have my personal top 25 male performers put together and they are in  that order for my own reasons. I looked hard at top tens, number ones, golds, platinum's, years of performing, ect , ect. But , like I said its my OWN copulation. Keith Whitley sits at number one partially for personal reasons. He certainly didn't sell more albums that say George Strait who is listed as number four. So you can see, it aint all about the numb
